Mexico (1821-1823)
Today is Flag Day in Mexico. The basic design of the Mexican flag was adopted in 1821, during the First Mexcian Empire. Later versions changed the design of the eagle in the centre (removing the crown was an obvious first step when the country became a Republic.)
